I did get up and out the door this morning, but I think my sleep deficit is taking it's toll. I have a few aches and pains that have sprung up today, which came as a surprise. There was a point at work today, where I could hardly keep my eyes open as I was trying to get a task done.
But on the positive side, I did feel great by the end of this morning's run. I'm not sure if it's endorphins or something else, but I enjoy the daily fix.

I mowed the lawn barefoot with my Reel push mower yesterday. Felt nice to do that again. It's a good workout and relaxing, grounding.
Joe -- I have a neighbor who has offered me her reel push mower. I am very tempted to take her up on this. It seems like a good idea on a number of levels.
Yeah, I'm very happy with my Scott's push mower. It doesn't mow really tall stuff well (have to mow often to avoid this). But, overall I am glad I got it. My lawn and legs are healthier because of it! Quieter, less polluting, gives you a workout (but not too much), and it requires very little maintenance...
Joe -- Another cool thing about the reel mowers is that they are a lot less expensive that gasoline powered mowers. You've got me convinced that I need to make the switch.
Yes, it's a lot less expensive. They mow best on relatively flat lawns without a lot of hills and big bumps, another tip. You'll like this machine for barefoot mowing...you try, you like!
Joe -- The next time I see my neighbor, I'll ask if she still wants to give me her reel mower. Then I will need to find someone to take my gas mower off my hands.
Yeah, and you might just want to keep it as an extra to mow with every once in a while. To get tall weeds and grass cut, I get around using a different mower and I just use my hand weed sling and just wipe them out, or use my electric weedeater when needed to touch up spots.
